17.6.2 Center and Scale Factor of a Dilation
Core ideaThe distances from the center out to corresponding points all grow by the same factor k, and that k is the scale factor.
Module goal. On top of similarity we add a shared center, giving the dilation transformation that enlarges or shrinks by pure construction, setting up the transformations in circles next and in later coordinate geometry.
