17.6.3 Constructing a Dilation (Enlarging and Shrinking)
Core ideaStarting from the center, push each vertex out or pull it in along its ray by a factor of k, then connect them back up.
Module goal. On top of similarity we add a shared center, giving the dilation transformation that enlarges or shrinks by pure construction, setting up the transformations in circles next and in later coordinate geometry.
