17.6.4 Dilations on the Same Side and Opposite Sides
Core ideaThe enlarged shadow can land on the same side as the light or flip to the other side, depending on whether the center sits between the figures or outside them.
Module goal. On top of similarity we add a shared center, giving the dilation transformation that enlarges or shrinks by pure construction, setting up the transformations in circles next and in later coordinate geometry.
