27.3.4 Linear Operations in Coordinates
Core idea
To add, subtract, or scale, you just work component by component: (x₁,y₁)+(x₂,y₂)=(x₁+x₂,y₁+y₂).
Module goal. Use two non-collinear vectors as a base to describe any vector, then bring in coordinates so geometric operations turn into plain arithmetic.
